Funding Opportunities

MIDHOS offers targeted funding to support collaborative research projects in core focus areas that are relevant for addressing metaflammation: musculoskeletal health, metabolic disease, inflammation, digital health, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Currently, there are no active funding mechanisms from MIDHOS. Future funding opportunities will be announced via the MIDHOS Newsletter.

The initial funding stream, Digital health, Inflammation, Metabolism, Osteology – SysReview (DIMO-S), provided support for collaborative systematic reviews, helping teams to synthesize evidence and accelerate progress across the MIDHOS priority domains.

The call is now closed (Deadline: Monday, January 19th, 2026).

In the inaugural DIMO-S round, ten proposals that showed outstanding interdisciplinarity and scientific merit, were selected.
